Bi-Weekly Project Post

So I decided the weekly project posts should probably be a bi-weekly thing, seeing as some people don't really work fast enough to have new material to contribute every week (ME). I set an alarm and put up a post-it and was all revved up to post Saturday night announcing it in the new post. AND THEN THERE WAS A TORNADO, LOL. And the power is out in damn near the whole fucking city. Good times. So here is your project post on Monday. MAKE IT A GOOD ONE IN MY ABSENCE BECAUSE THE LIBRARY CLOSES IN A COUPLE HOURS AND THEN I WILL BE AT HOME. IN THE DARK. GOING STEADILY MAD.

I wish there were more elder clothes, especially EM! Healthy, happy sims spend about as much time as elders as they do as adults (okay, only if you don't count uni as adulthood, but still). Why is there so little content for elder men? :(

I also wish there were more male hairstyles that reflected what I see men wearing. The men I see regularly--my dad, boyfriend, brother, friends, professors--would never wear hairstyles like what I have in my CC male hair folder! And I usually download hairstyles meant for men, not M2F conversions. It's not just length, either; it's texture. Men mostly have kind of thick hair, but most hair textures tend to make hair look really fine.

I just made all of my adult clothing elder available and don't have any custom elder-specific clothing anymore. They all have gray hair, wrinkly skin, horrible posture and they're more likely to get pudgy because they've already maxed their body points, anyway.

I don't know how helpful this is, but it is an idea. They'll have tons more outfits if they wear the adult clothes, after all. :)

That is a pretty good idea! (My skills-maxed sims get pudgy too! It's mostly because they all have gardens and stock their fridges with fresh food. AND they make gigantic plates of lobster thermidor at the drop of a hat, damn them)
